Frequently Asked Questions for a Minnesota Wedding DJ

Below are some questions and answers that will help you make a decision in finding the right DJ in Minnesota, whether it be 2 The Maxx Entertainment or another DJ service.

1. Are you a single DJ Company or do you have other DJ's?
I'm a single owner/operator and also network with other DJ's. Whether it's me or another DJ, you will work with that DJ assigned to your event from start to finish.

2. Are you insured? Can you supply me with proof of liability?
To help protect my business, yourself and your guests to ensure everyone is safe from injury at your event I do have liability insurance and can provide proof of liability insurance.

3. How will you prepare for and customize our event?
I like to personally meet with clients ahead of time to go over details and find out how they envision their special day. I spend a lot of time throughout the week before the event preparing, practicing, and planning.

4. Do you allow requests and discuss music ahead of time?
I will play music that your guests request. Music will be talked about ahead of time as to what type you are looking for and you will have access to online tools to create your own music play list that will allow you to chose music you want played and don't want played.

5. Do you use Professional Equipment?
To ensure reliable service and quality presentation, 2 The Maxx uses the top brand names in professional and sound and lighting.

6. Do you provide backup equipment at my event?
Although equipment failure is rare today, I do have backup equipment available in case of such event.

7. What will you wear to my event?
I will be dressed in proper attire, suit and tie unless otherwise specified by the bride and groom. (If a tux is requested rental fees will be applied to your final price.)

8. What time will be you at my event and set-up?
I like to show up at least 2 hours before your guests arrive. This gives me time to be set-up and to run through the evening events with your other vendors.

9. Do you provide an agreement?
When booking your event you will be directed to the electronic agreement to be printed out, signed and sent back with the required deposit.

10. May we call your references?
Yes, references will be made available upon request. See also the Client Reviews page.
